Half Petabyte in 2U 40G Capture
FMADIO40
Our 40Gbit packet capture device provides an optimal blend of price and features enabling both 40Gbit QSFP native connections and 8x10G capture interfaces using breakout cables. FMADIO40 has both a 1U and 2U form factor based on the total HDD storage retention requirements.
With a price that's a fraction of our competitors, but unlike our competitors we guarantee 100% packet capture.
Line rate 40GbE packet capture - 59.52Mpps
Line rate 2 x 40GbE packet generator
Simple Web User Interface
Fast packet filtering to get to the packets of interest in seconds
Easy to use APIs to seamlessly integrate with other tools
Three-pane packet decoder to view packets on-box
Linux containers support to add analytics of choice
FMADIO plugin support for pre-packaged analytics
High Port density 8 x 10G or 8 x 25G native support
8 x 10G or 8 x 25G support using MPO12 breakout cables
Both 1U and 2U options based on maximum HDD Storage
480TB storage using our maximum 2U storage option
Fully redundant RAID5 storage architecture
PTPv2 slave support for accurate timestamps
Power Efficient, typically 200W when capturing
Corrupt FCS full packet capture
Slim 1U Power Efficient
Power consumption and power budget is deeply important. As the bulk of the capture workload is offloaded to our custom designed power efficient FPGA, FMADIO20 typically runs around 200W when capturing.
Capture Everything
At FMADIO our motto is “Capture Everything, then Ask Questions”. This gives the maximum flexibility to record all network traffic, then go back in time to answer the Who, What, When and Why questions.
The Ecosystem
We believe FMADIO is one component of a larger ecosystem of hardware, software and services.
Our approach is the Unix Philosophy of "combining small sharp tools to accomplish larger tasks".
One part of your Stack
Having clean and simple interface to FMADIO devices is critical. Our goal is not to replace your infrastructure. Instead interpolate and be One Part of your Stack, and do that exceptionally well.
