Capturing traffic core networks is typically difficult due to the volume of traffic involved and the number of physical connections that may exist. FMADIO100 appliances can be configured for 2x100GbE, 2x40GbE, 8x25GbE or 8x10GbE interfaces and can sustain 100Gbps of packet capture. This, along with their affordable price, makes them eminently suitable for deployment in core networks.
On top of these capabilities, the Analytics version of the FMADIO100 has a vast pool of CPU and RAM resources for running applications in containers, enabling a flexible and powerful security posture, even in the most demanding networks.
Edge security
Packet capture and security in edge networks have different demands. The most notable of these are the cost of implementation across a large number of locations, and the complexity of deploying security services to these locations.
The FMADIO20 Portable packet capture appliance deals with these demands simply and effectively. This low-cost, high-performance system can capture at a sustained 20Gbps, whilst running an array of security tools to analyse the traffic that it captures in real time.
