The FMADIO 100G Portable Packet Capture brings new capabilities to users that have previously not had access to 100GbE packet capture:
Field engineering
Whether it be in the telecoms, datacenter, broadcast, finance, or corporate environments, 100GbE packet capture has been limited up to now to rackmount appliances that need datacenter-level controlled environments, making it inefficient and costly to move appliances to different locations.
The FMADIO 100G Portable solves this at a stroke, with a low cost and easily portable appliance that can be moved to and installed at a new location quickly and easily. The appliance is supplied with a rugged, wheeled flight case, so moving it long distances is a breeze too.
The removable drive array means that if the volume of data captured is too great to transfer electronically, the lightweight drive array can be shipped back to HQ separately for deeper analysis. The drives are AES256 encrypted, reducing risk during transit.

At only 13kg (28lbs), the appliance can easily be carried by one man, maximizing flexibility in the field, the powerful onboard cooling fans with built in dust filters reduce the need for low-temperature operation, and the removable drive array, which can be removed in just a few seconds, provides a number of advantages:

Fast removal to secure data in the event of unexpected circumstances
